I recorded my first solo album NULL in the church of my hometown Oberwinter and at Hansahaus Studio Bonn in 2009. In the following years I enjoyed playing solo concerts, working on my material and tried several times to record a second solo album in a studio environment. But I was never really happy with the results. Because I felt this music was better represented in a live context, in 2023 we recorded a full tour of concerts.

The Salzburg concert was special in many ways. Outstanding acoustic, beautiful huge church in the middle of the old town, cold night in the fall, starting at midnight after a long day of festival concerts all over the city. Still I hesitated for a long time to finally release the concert. This is only capturing the moment of a long process which is still ongoing. Right now I’m already working on new material. Supported by the fantastic Baldantoni bass previously owned by Stefano Scodanibbio I got in 2024.

Please enjoy this excerpt of my music. The concert was completely improvised. I never make a plan or order of events beforehand. A few pieces are popping up here and there, maybe you’ll recognize something.
